Exordium Shawl Kit
Exordium means “the beginning of anything.” A fitting name for founder of Fuse Fiber Studio Rebecca Picoult's first pattern! Exordium starts with just two stitches and grows into an asymmetrical bi-colored triangle that drapes perfectly when wrapped around your neck and shoulders. Sections of relaxing garter stitch are paired with stripes and lace sections to keep things interesting.
This lovely shawl deserves an equally delightful yarn, so we paired it with two skeins of Alexandra's Black Butte (438yds/100g). A luscious blend of 65% Superwash Merino, 15% Yak, and 20% Silk, this is what fingering weight yarn dreams are made of!
We have color options for those who like a nice blending of tones or for those who prefer high contrast. Add in a set of fun stitch markers from Thistle & Hart or Heidi & Lana and some Soak wool wash, and you have everything you need!
This kit includes two skeins of Alexandra Black Butte, the pattern, a set of stitch markers, and 2 MiniSoak wool wash packets.
