Silky Sheep

Silky Sheep is a soft, round yarn with an outstanding sheen and fabulous drape.  The high silk content makes this a luxury yarn while the Merino adds elasticity and memory. Projects knit up quickly in this DK weight yarn. Just think of all the lovely sweaters, shawls, hats, and even dresses and skirts you can make with Silky Sheep.

Greenwood Fiberworks' semi-solid colors are kettle-dyed in small batches. This hand-dye process creates a yarn with a slight color variation throughout the skein which gives great visual interest to your project. The variegated colors are hand-painted in small batches, using a random dye process that creates a yarn that is unlikely to pool or stripe. What you see in the skein is very much how the colors will blend in your finished fabric.

Recommended hand washing in warm water and laying flat to dry to ensure the best care for your project.
