The Essential Sock Toolkit
Wild Knits staff have gathered all our favorite sock making tools and notions in one handy kit! It is perfect for every knitter, from beginners just starting their sock journey to those who have several pairs under their belts.
Ever had trouble with sizing socks for a friend, or tired of trying on the sock over and over to see when you need to start the toe or heel flap? We present, the sock ruler! Simply insert the ruler into either the toe or heel of the sock, and easily measure how far you have to go before starting the next section. Have trouble with finicky double pointed needles? Try the Addi Flexiflips, a set of double pointed needles with a small section of cord in the middle to make double pointed knitting more smooth and flexible. Can never remember how to graft toes or heels? We have nifty wood keychain tools with Kitchener stitch instructions that easily hook onto any project bag so you never forget.
And of course, you need to have some yarn to try out all the sock tools! We've included a skein of Madelene Tosh Twist Light yarn, a fingering weight blend of superwash and nylon with colors ranging from muted solids to fun variegated tones, perfect for sock making. To thank you for supporting a local yarn shop in Oregon's Cherry City, we threw in a Salem vintage sticker and a tree patterned project bag. Lets get knitting!
