Yakity Yak
Yakity Yak is Greenwood Fiberwork's most popular yarn and for good reason. The subtle silvery undertone creates a unique and beautiful depth of color. Yakity Yak also has a firm twist with a nice drape which makes it perfect for socks, shawls, mitts, and even sweaters. Best of all, it is very, very soft. You will love it, too!
Greenwood's variegated colors are hand-painted in small batches. They use a random dye process that creates a yarn that is unlikely to pool or stripe. What you see in the skein is very much how the colors will blend in your finished fabric.
Their semi-solid colors are kettle-dyed in small batches. This hand-dye process creates a yarn with a slight color variation throughout the skein which gives great visual interest to your project.
Recommend hand washing in warm water and laying flat to dry to ensure the best care for your project.
