The shawl is a triangle knit seamlessly from the top down. The pattern includes basic intarsia worked in garter stitch. If you are new to intarsia, this shawl is a great place to try the technique for the first time. 

Aurai sock is an airy and warm sock yarn. Hand-wash in cold water is highly recommended; however, it will survive machine washing.
