This superwash fingering weight merino wool, custom-milled exclusively for Hazel Knits, has a tight twist giving you beautiful stitch definition. The 10% nylon provides added strength making it perfect for socks, but in colors this pretty, it is a great choice for shawls, sweaters and mittens as well.

Recommended care: Hand launder with mild, wool friendly soap in tepid water. Lay flat to dry.

While we recommend hand washing to preserved the color and life of your knitted or crocheted item, Artisan Sock may be machine washed on gentle cycle and machine dried at low temperature.

Content: 90% superwash merino, 10% nylon

Weight: Fingering 

Yardage: 400 yards, 120 grams (skeins put up by yardage, weight may have slight variance.)

Gauge: 8 stitches per inch on US size 1-2 needle

*Listed gauge is suggested for sock knitting. Artisan Sock maybe knit at a looser gauge for other accessories and garments.
